More About Nicholas Rutter

Nicholas joined the team at Lane Hipple in May 2024 after earning his finance degree from Rutgers University. He discovered his passion for wealth management and financial planning at a remarkably young age. In middle school, Nicholas accompanied his parents to their financial review with their trusted advisor. He marveled at the presentation and the wealth of knowledge he acquired within such a brief span. Watching the advisor interact with his parents and seeing how much they confided and trusted in him, Nicholas gained a deep respect for the profession. He discovered that not only did this advisor assist his parents with their financial planning, but the advisor also played a crucial role in ensuring his grandparents’ peace of mind. It occurred to Nick that being a financial advisor was not just about calculations and spreadsheets, but rather, it was about financial protection and building the roadmap to a successful and prosperous future for generations.

While only in high school, Nicholas established his own business dedicated to restoring aging homes. Leveraging modern technology, he enhanced the aesthetics and efficiency of his customers’ homes, ensuring longevity for generations to come. Although in a different manner, Nicholas helped families increase the value of their most important personal asset. This paralleled his passion for financial planning and helping others.

I take great pride in continuous learning and self-improvement. As a people-oriented individual, I find joy in assisting others. In life we rise by lifting those around us, and as an Executive Assistant, I support the advisors and enhance the client experience. I am proud to work at Lane Hipple, as I have grown up in the area my entire life. When not working, I spend as much time as I can with my family and friends at the Jersey Shore. Along with my other passions, I deeply enjoy woodworking and building science.
